3 Generations of sheet metal workers.
Paul McDonald junior started work in 1985 as an apprentice sheet metal worker.
He passed all City and Guilds and NVQ exams with distinctions.
In 2006 he left full time employment to expand and meet sales demands of Paul McDonald & Son (ibox).
Joseph McDonald has now joined the family business and finished a
sheet metal apprenticeship at Bradford college.
Having passed all his exams to a high standard.
We think its very unique to have 3 generations working together we are very fortunate.
Paul McDonald & Son construct and supply a complete range of storage boxes.
They are made from either Wood grain Laminate (Coated Galvanized Sheet),
Plastisol (PVC coated Galvanized sheet) or Aluzink (Galvanized finish).
The storage boxes are secure, water resistant and can be made to any size.
Suitable for Caravans, Mobility Scooter, Motor Bike and Garden storage etc.
Since 2001 we have produced both Galvanized, PVC coated and Laminate boxes.
We have supplied a variety of customers all over the UK , ranging from private sales to various Campsites, Housing Associations, Councils and Shops.
Paul McDonald senior initially worked for the Mining Industry, which included companies such as Elrams, making hydraulic rams and
Reynolds Chains making mounting frames for gear boxes.
After 1985 due to the miners strike the type of work changed for us, to Building Contractors. Work included on site welding and girder work.
Since 1988 he has predominantly specialised in sheet metal work,
welding and fabrication.
